How to spot fake websites

Many websites appear every day, and not all of them are legitimate or serious.

• The first thing to check is the legal notice. It must contain the identity of the company or person managing the site, as well as a postal address.
• For websites outside France, choose secure PayPal payment whenever possible. It protects your purchases and gives you additional guarantees.
• Also check reviews of the seller. If there are only negative reviews, run away!
• At payment time, you should arrive on the website of the payment provider: PayPal, Payzen, Ogone, Payline, a bank, and so on.

If the payment appears directly on the merchant website like this, it is fake.
